Coach Richard Cabuay Macapulay is the Top 1 in the 2016 September Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET), Secondary Education division. He graduated in BS-Chemistry from the Tarlac State University and is currently finishing his MS degree at the University of the Philippines Manila. He reviewed at MindGym’s 18-day LET coaching during his preparation for the LET, where he currently coaches as well.
Here’s a quick inspirational boost from MindGym coach Richard:
“Rome wasn’t built in a day.” —French Proverb
There is no definite elixir in achieving LET success. Perhaps, educators who have reached greater heights are the ones who have done simple steps with diligence and excellence. Those who have toil their yard of review materials many times more than their mediocre counterparts. Those who have willingly modified their study habits that are not working. Those who have sacrificed momentary inconvenience for lengthy but strategic review sessions. Those who have not depended on their aptitude but in a consistent labour of review and practice preceding the LET.
Notching the top spot in the Licensure Examination for Teachers is a series of preparation prior to the actual examination day. It is a mixture of an impossible goal, concrete plans, routine of review and practice drills, self-assessment and a driving force in recalibrating one’s actions and perspective.
With faith in Him and thorough preparation, we can make the impossible to “I’m possible.”
