do you offer online review/tutorials for the LET? I am a non-educ graduate who is currently taking up PTC Program. Hopefully, I’ll finish the program by march 2011. Since I have a non-educ background (career-wise, as well), I feel the need to prepare early before taking the LET next year. Unfortunately, I am not sure if I can do the weekend reviews religiously. Since I enrolled in a DE mode, I think I can handle an online review. What do you suggest?

The T.L.E. specialization is really a challenge. I have urged T. L. E. LET takers to voice out their views about the seeming inappropriateness of lumping the previous 3 majorships (Home Economics, Business, and Industrial Arts) of LET into a T. L. E. specialization. The difficulty arises especially if a LET prospect only took education units and had a previous first degree which is just one of 8 disciplines covered in T. L. E. Let’s see if we can take you in our T. L. E. group sessions.

is your center is more effective than the met review center?
Around 80% last October 2009 (with 2 Topnotchers) and 87% last April 2010 (with 4 Topnotchers). We’d rather not compare ourselves with other centers. They have their own styles and we have our own.

hi again, thank you so much for your reply. hopefully i will be taking the LET come Sept 2011, since i still have not graduated and cannot apply for this April. i would like to ask another question. i am a library science major and my area of specialization would of course be english since i have the most number of units in this subject. would this mean i cannot teach high school biology or chemisty, even if i will take units in science later on? i thought of taking up biological sciences as my area of specialization,but i’m about 90% sure i’ll fail since i have little background. i also thought of taking up summer classes,but i don’t think it will be enough compared to science majors. so, i will stick to english instead. but i hope to teach science and not english later on. what can you advise that i should do? thank you so much for your help.
